Most people come for 2-3 days to look for horses and during that time they will be out from 9:00 in the morning to 20:00 in the evening looking at horses so there isn’t really much time to spend in the hotel should you not choose to do so yourself. Or if you have company and someone is staying in the hotel whilst you are out looking I have made below suggestions.
To book any of the below to go to http://booking.com and do a search for hotels in Marbella, Spain.
This is my selection:
One star:
Hostal Paco is located in the pittoresque old town of Marbella. Below is a fantastic tapas and wine bar that is very popular in Marbella. The owners are a lovely couple from Galicia and the hotel is clean and fresh. In the old town there are an abundance of restaurants and bars to go to in the evening time.
Two stars:
Boutique Hotel Central in Marbella
Hotel Central is also located in the old town of Marbella. It has a fresh and modern feel to it. It’s only a stone throw away from the busy restaurant and bar area of the old town.
Three stars:
El faro is located in the area between the old town and the beach of Marbella. There are several restaurants around the corner and you are close to the beach.
San Pedro is a village near Marbella with an authentic Spanish feel to it. The hotel is located on the walking street with several small shops and restaurants near.
Four stars:
Opposite the luxurious hotel, restaurant, night club Puente Romano is the NH Alanda. It has all that you need if you are looking for a comfortable stay in your hotel. It’s a typical business man hotel.
This is probably the most popular hotel of my customers. The hotel has really good beds and has low price for it’s four stars. There is also a spa for relaxing tired horse riding muscles!
Hotel Fuerte in the centre of Marbella is located very near the old town and also very near the beach.
Five stars:
If you are a five star guest of Marbella there is only three places worth being. Number one: Marbella Club Hotel Number two: Puente Romano Hotel and Number three: Gran Melia Don Pepe
I will let the websites of these hotels speak for themselves. All three of them are top of the range and world class luxury hotels.
