Can’t find what you are looking for?

Don’t worry. Andalusitano have more than 250 horses in our back pocket. It doesn’t matter what you are looking for, we can find it for you. The horses we have on the site are just a selection based upon the following criteria, in this order:

1. Character – we want friendly horses that are willing to cooperate with us, this is the most important thing for us.

2. Conformation – we only chose horses that have the physical ability to work as a riding horse.

3. Movement – There are two different categories of movement. The first is the movements for competition dressage… here we chose horses that are open in the shoulder and can take long strides with very little dishing, but still have a nice lift in their back legs too. The second is more of a baroque type of movement with a high and flashy front leg action and a good lift in the hind legs too. The movement is a question of taste and what you are going to use the horse for. None is better than the other, but if you are going to ride your horse forward a lot, don’t chose a horse that has a stride that is more suitable for upwards movement, and vice versa.

But as we said the horses that are on this site are merely a selection of horses available to you. Our business idea is to find you your dream horse and we do that by looking for horses with your special criteria in hand. So if you are interested in buying a Spanish horse from Spain, but haven’t found what you are looking for in our site, just send us a mail to andalusitano@gmail.com and tell us what you are after. You can ask for any type of horse… maybe one with a specific blood line, one with child proof character or one with exceptionally long mane as you are preparing a show class and want to knock your competition out. We don’t think that any criteria is out of the question and would do our best to find the exact right horse for you.
