It’s not often I get a horse in from Miura, probably the best stud in all of Spain, and Regidor is no exception. He moves amazing, straight, with cadence, with air and he has expression like few. He is functional and simply the epiphany of the Spanish horse. Regidor is a gelding and born 2004. He accepts all handling and has basic schooling but needs more work in the dressage, however a horse like him has so much self carriage that working him up to a decent level fast is not a problem. This is the type of horse that does the work for you.

He has a wonderful temperament and I like his roman nose!

He is after a Yeguada militar stud and has an unregistered mother and he has only ever had one home before this one, where he was born and breed. In the other home he was used for hacking only but now he is being worked by the young lady (who is a very competent rider) in dressage and he is improving a lot. I think he is a very calm and trustworthy horse suitable for an older rider or someone that needs to build their confidence up. He is about 165 cm tall. Photos here soon!

He has just started his re schooling period after being with a complete beginner for about a year. I rode him and felt very safe on him. The name on the video isn’t right, I thought he was called Elegido that is why it says that in the video, but really his name is Nazareno.
